These terms apply to the ClutchClip website at clutchclip.org and to purchases of ClutchClip plans. Use of the software itself is additionally governed by theEnd User License Agreement. Refunds are covered by therefund policy. Where those documents conflict with these terms on their own subject matter, they win.

1. Who we are

ClutchClip is published by SaliimLabs. Contact:hello@clutchclip.org.

2. The free trial

The installer includes a trial that exports five complete clips with no card required and no watermark. The trial is per person, not per reinstall; deliberately circumventing the trial counter is a breach of these terms.

3. Plans and billing

Weekly: $2.50, billed weekly. Renews until cancelled.
Annual: $65, billed yearly. Renews until cancelled.
Lifetime: $200, one payment. Does not renew.

Prices are in US dollars and include any sales tax or VAT that applies in your jurisdiction; the price shown at checkout is the total you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the listed price until you cancel, and cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for. If a renewal payment fails, ClutchClip allows a short grace period (3 days for weekly plans and 7 days for annual plans); access pauses after that grace period until payment succeeds.

4. Price changes

We may change the price of new purchases at any time. An existing subscription keeps its price for the current period; if we change the renewal price, we will email you before it takes effect so you can cancel. A lifetime license already purchased is never re-charged.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

resell, sublicense, rent or share your license key beyond the seats it covers;
circumvent licensing, trial limits or update signing;
use ClutchClip to process material you have no right to process;
use it to produce content that is unlawful where you are.

What you make with ClutchClip is yours. We claim no rights over your recordings or your exports, and we do not require attribution.

6. Availability

ClutchClip is desktop software: once installed and activated it runs without us. The website, license server and update server are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and may be unavailable for maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of those services.

7. Termination

You may stop using ClutchClip at any time and cancel from your billing portal or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate a license for a material breach of these terms (principally license sharing or circumvention), and where the breach is not deliberate we will contact you first.

8. Disclaimers and liability

ClutchClip is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will produce a particular result, that automatic moment detection will pick the clip you would have picked, or that transcription will be error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost content or indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and material changes will be emailed to license holders. Continuing to use ClutchClip after a change means you accept it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SaliimLabs is established, and the courts there have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence.
